+ What is sunless spray tanning?

Sunless spray tanning is the spray/mist application of sunless tanning solution to your body. When applied, DHA (the active ingredient in sunless tanning solution) reacts with the proteins in the skin’s superficial layer to form a golden brown color. Your skin begins to darken two to three hours after application and reaches its peak color within 24 hours. The color will gradually fade through natural exfoliation, just like a tan from the sun.

No. The advanced technology used in our VersaSpa sunless tanning solution is designed to ensure a natural, bronze tan. Our salon staff can help you select the proper level of tanning solution to best match your skin tone.

+ How long should I wait to shower after a VersaSpa session?

To give the DHA enough time to fully set, it is recommended to wait to shower a minimum of 4 hours or 8 hours for optimal results, after your VersaSpa session.

+ Preparing For Your VersaSpa Sunless Tanning Session

  • Come with a clean base. Prior to your session, do not wear make-up, deodorant, or oil based moisturizers. Make sure to shave any areas of your body that you normally shave.
  • Completely and thoroughly exfoliate your entire body.
  • Wear loose fitting, dark clothing when you come for your spray tan, continue to wear these clothes for up to 4-6 hours after your session. Avoid tight undergarments, socks and tight shoes. They may leave a tan line.
